Blister Assembly and Sealing Services

Heritage Pioneer offers blister assembly and sealing services for a wide range of packaging applications, including pharmaceutical products, electronics, medical devices and consumer goods. Blister packaging involves sealing a plastic shell, or blister, to a cardboard sheet. The product is enclosed within the shell, making it visible on the retail shelf while preventing tampering.

Blister Packaging Equipment

Highly sophisticated, state-of-the-art blister packaging equipment can run high-speed packaging operations for various types of blister packs. Thermoform blister packaging systems apply heat and mold the plastic to fit the product. Cold forming systems use a stamping process to press aluminum laminated film to the backing. In addition to high-speed machines, there are also rotary style thermoformers and single unit, table top systems for medium to low production needs.

Benefits of Blister Packs

One of the main benefits of blister packs is tamper evidence, protecting the products from damage or contamination. Trapped blister packs are often considered a more sustainable alternative to traditional clamshell packaging, as blisters use less plastic materials and more recycled materials, such as corrugated cardboard.

At Heritage Pioneer, we offer blister assembly and sealing services that can be customized to meet unique needs. Contact us today to learn more!
